Key facts about commercial mortgages

Lending on commercial mortgage loans are typically set on a margin above bank of England base rate and loans are generally available up to 75% Loan-To-Value.

Lenders generally take the property you are buying as the only security for the loan, which is typically 70% of the value of the property, many ask for a cash deposit for the balance of the purchase price.

Commercial mortgages range typically from 3 to 30 years. Shorter term finance is also available in the form of a bridging loan or property development loan, which our advisers can help you with should these products be a better fit for your circumstances.

Lending criteria will be judged according to lender, your experience, and how you and your business plan are presented to a lender. Full credit searches will be required.
